Ready for Quiz #19?
Let’s Keep it That Way!
.
Quiz Rules/Format
(Same as last year, feel free to skip to the quiz if you know the rules already)
Your Task: Name the mystery Artist, ideally with as few clues as possible.
Correctly guess the artist on the first clue? 500 points.
After scrolling down to the second clue? 400 points.
Still don’t know after the fifth clue? 0 points, but a crisp high-five for participating.
I’ll use google translate to put the correct answer at the bottom in Arabic (if you read Arabic, that’s fantastic, but no cheating by reading ahead!) and you can translate it back to the language of your choice to confirm your answer.
In the comments, please enter your POINTS earned (not the artist name) and I’ll keep track of the running totals in a spreadsheet.
In addition to eternal bragging rights, the winner at the end of the year may even get something as prestigious as a digital certificate.
Here goes!

… zero!!
(The photo-clue didn’t appear in my email, which might well have netted some points 🤣)
Interesting – I think you would have gotten the 400 clue with the photos Bruce, as I know you’d recognize the tennis player with the same surname!
200 fortunate points
Nice work on the equation clue, Neil!
200 but I’ve never heard of her
I’m pleased you were able to earn some points regardless, Jimmy!
500. I had to rack my brain a bit though.
Well racked, Graham!
200 for me as well. I was so wrong on my original guess.
Not to worry, John – I’m pleased the name arrived on the Bill / Green Gables clue!
500 big ones today.
Outstanding, D!
500 smackers Sir and super duper good luck on the campaign trail! You would get my vote if I was down there!
She needs to run in my riding! I got nothing but yokels here!
Agreed and the same goes here as well!
Cheers, Deke & Kevin – so far so good with the campaign!
500! I forgot that there is another Oh What A Feeling out there. I’m going to have to track that down.
Disc 2 was my favourite of the bunch – it had most of the late 80s/early 90s CanCon rock!
200 please
Well done on the Canadian literature clue, Harrison!
Not my forte, but it was enough this time.
500. Phew. I keep my Canadian passport for now.
Good thing too – I gather the passport renewal lines aren’t the shortest these days!
Haha! I’ve heard that too.
300. The “OH, what a feeling ” had me wanting to do some dancing on the ceiling.
There’s always time for some Lionel around here as well, Zack!
500 each for me and Mika. I have one of her gold records! Glad I got it at 500 or else I’d be trying to think of a singer named Egg.
Her?!
She must be funny.
500!
Exemplary, Sarca!
Yeah that’s a 500 for me, thanks to a lot of her music in our house, and at my grandparents’ house, as a kid.
Well done, Aaron (and Aaron’s grandparents)!
They were fantastic. Man, I miss them.
Aww shucks! I’m sorry, I have no clue. Thanks for the quiz, though, Geoff!
No worries, Lana – thanks for playing!
Anytime, my friend!
Zilch this week.
the honesty is appreciated!
I’m pretty sure honesty was actually invented in Wales. Honest …
Ouf. Missed this as was in hospital having surgery (all mended now), but if I’d played I would have only scored 100 anyway 😂😁
To be added this week, TVTA – glad to hear you’ve recovered!
Many thanks, getting there slowly and surely 😊😎
