Never was a cloudy day!

Quiz Rules/Format
(Same as last year, feel free to skip to the quiz if you know the rules already)
Your Task: Name the mystery Artist, ideally with as few clues as possible.
Correctly guess the artist on the first clue? 500 points.
After scrolling down to the second clue? 400 points.
Still don’t know after the fifth clue? 0 points, but a crisp high-five for participating.
I’ll use google translate to put the correct answer at the bottom in Arabic (if you read Arabic, that’s fantastic, but no cheating by reading ahead!) and you can translate it back to the language of your choice to confirm your answer.
In the comments, please enter your POINTS earned (not the artist name) and I’ll keep track of the running totals in a spreadsheet.
In addition to eternal bragging rights, the winner at the end of the year may even get something as prestigious as a digital certificate.
Here goes!

500. The vicar at my church likes to rock September after the service.
Sounds like my kind of vicar!
400 please.
Well done, Harrison!
300
Nice work, Jimmy!

Good to be back, John!
500 Points as they dudes were On Fire back than!
Read a lotto Rolling Stone magazine back in the early 80s to Mid 80’s as our School Library always got the issues. Learned about bands like this through those pages.
Well learned & remembered, Deke!
500, I only own one CD but I do own it I reckon!
And the CD ownership paid dividends today, Mike!
Oof. I didn’t know this one at all. 200. Not my bag apparently.
I’m pleased you got the Bette Midler clue, JP!
Amazingly, I couldn’t remember who it was that did that song until you said it.
300 this week.
Well played, D!
400. It’ll certainly be an interesting September this year.
The dancing in this September will have to be physically distant!
400. I never liked how that band completely snubs water. What did water do to you?
Honestly, who has an issue with some high quality H2O?!
Excellent clues, sir! I got it for 300 points.
Cheers, TVTA – and nice work!
500 for Mika, 400 for me.
300. I’m on a roll of mediocrity. Make it a punk band next week so I can get out of this slump!
And the mediocrity roll is over!
A shame faced 200, but that clue was priceless.
My thanks, Neil!
300. Thank you for the photo clues!
Anytime – I try to include at least one photo clue or a ___ + ___ = ______ equation!
500, please! (I have always liked this song, as my birthday is in September!!)
500 belated points it is, Adela – and happy early birthday!
400 this time!
Good work on the month + dancin’ clue!
