Quiz Rules/Format
(Same as last year, feel free to skip to the quiz if you know the rules already)
Your Task: Name the mystery Artist, ideally with as few clues as possible.
Correctly guess the artist on the first clue? 500 points.
After scrolling down to the second clue? 400 points.
Still don’t know after the fifth clue? 0 points, but a crisp high-five for participating.
I’ll use google translate to put the correct answer at the bottom in Arabic (if you read Arabic, that’s fantastic, but no cheating by reading ahead!) and you can translate it back to the language of your choice to confirm your answer.
In the comments, please enter your POINTS earned (not the artist name) and I’ll keep track of the running totals in a spreadsheet.
In addition to eternal bragging rights, the winner at the end of the year may even get something as prestigious as a digital certificate.
Here goes!

500. Let’s Go!
a Magic score!
500! You might think I’m crazy… but I always loved their music videos.
I always appreciate when an artist puts effort into the videos – Peter Gabriel also comes to mind!
400, that first one was just too obscure for me.
I had a feeling last week’s score was an outlier, good work, Neil!
500!
Terrific work, Adela!
400.
PM5K cover one of their tunes mentioned there.
Nice work, Jimmy!
500 for me please. One of my absolute fave bands.
Well played, Mr. 1000/1537 – they’re a group I need to explore beyond the first album. I adore some of the groups they inspired so I imagine I’ll find plenty to like with them too!
They’re a class act, up to Heartbeat City at least – declining sharply thereafter in my humble opinion.
I stalled twice. 300 points please.
I’m pleased you got back in gear at the weezer clue, TVTA!
500.
Excellent work, Zack!
Stalled on the first question so just 400 for me this week.
I would still consider a score of 400 Good Times!
Just What I Needed is another 500 points!
Deke, you’re acing these 2020 quizzes, Let’s go!
Lol Thanks. I don’t want to say too much as the roof could cave in on any given Sunday! lol

It’s all about finishing respectable this year! lol
500 for me!! It has been Touch And Go lately with my guesses but with this one I was able to Drive it home.
Time to say Hello Again, perfect score!
200 today.
Good work, D!
400!
Terrific work, Sarca!
500! It’s magic!
Let’s go, Kevin!
Pop music maths equation on British panel show! Thought you might enjoy!
You know your audience, Amrita – very clever work by Jon!
200.
Nice work, Amrita!
500! I wrote 968 words on them this morning.
A well-timed 968-word writing, Mike!
We didn’t even collude! It just happened. 5/5 stars incidentally.

500 for me and Mika.
Excellent work, Mika & James!
