The Auteurs – New Wave (1993)

January 5, 2019

[Album 629/1001]

The Auteurs’ New Wave is like a full Sloan album of Jay Ferguson’s Twice Removed tracks: in other words, it couldn’t be much more up my street.

Verbalize the Positive

This Auteurs review is a part of the #OneSentenceReview Challenge.

A brand new challenge suggested by 2loud2oldmusic in the comments section earlier today @ Thunder Bay Arena Rock (which I can only assume makes the #OneSentenceReview a totally official thing!)

Considering I’m way behind on my 1001albumsin10years review pace & school restarts on Monday, I’m quite appreciative of any challenge that helps me get caught up, so cheers John & Deke!

From → 1990s

  1. Hahaha Awesome stuff Geoff!
    Cool one sentence review
I’m thinking me and John should call ourselves the Can- Am Connection!🤘👍😜

  2. Never heard of this but you’re selling it to me…,

    • I went in knowing absolutely nothing about it – and after listening, I’m surprised I hadn’t been listening to it for the last 25 years!

  3. Great one Geoff! Way to get the ball rolling. And Deke, It is the Am-Can Connection!! 🙂 Okay, Can-Am Connection does have a better ring to it.

  4. I ahad to Google this just to make sure there wasn’t actually a Sloan-related album I’d missed!

One sentence challenge? I love it.

  5. Awesomely efficient, Geoff.

  6. Milk them #OneSentenceReviews! Finish the 1001 list by Valentine’s Day!
