Ready for Quiz #26?
Summertime, and the quizzin’s easy?!
.
Quiz Rules/Format
(feel free to skip to the quiz if you know the rules already)
Your Task: Name the mystery Artist, ideally with as few clues as possible.
Correctly guess the artist on the first clue? 500 points.
After scrolling down to the second clue? 400 points.
Still don’t know after the fifth clue? 0 points, but a crisp high-five for participating.
I’ll use google translate to put the correct answer at the bottom in Arabic (if you read Arabic, that’s fantastic, but no cheating by reading ahead!) and you can translate it back to the language of your choice to confirm your answer.
In the comments, please enter your POINTS earned (not the artist name) and I’ll keep track of the running totals in a spreadsheet.
In addition to eternal bragging rights, the winner at the end of the year may even get something as prestigious as a digital certificate.
Here goes!

300. I struggle with pop starlets sometimes.
If a struggle still led to 300 this week, that’s a good result!
100 for me haha.
But I will be sure to award those 100 points HMO!
500. Her Wheel of Musical Impressions with Fallon were spot on.
Especially the Britney one – well played Amrita!
400 for me.
And a non-spam 400 at that!
😀
300. The American TV shows went over my head but Mickey Mouse club is universal.
Nice work Kid Slender!
400. I know my pop stars!
what’s that old saying, knowing is half the battle!
GI JOOOOOOE!
200
Not too shabby!
Woop! 500 for me this week!
500 is definitely Woop-worthy, well played J!
500 bam! 👊
Outstanding work Sarca!
Knew from the first clue I was in trouble here. Bit too Nth American for the colonies!
100. Just.
But they all count – I forgot to congratulate you last week on breaking the elusive 10,000 point barrier!
300.
Nice work Zack!
I thought I had 400, but I was thinking of the wrong singing show.
After pulling down a cool bunch of points the last couple of weeks ..its back to a meagre 100 this week Geoff…..
More Metal Please…hahaha
Request noted Deke! 😀
Have to second that motion, Deke. 🙂
500
Nice work JP!
Thanks. Don’t ask me how I knew.
200, but only because my lovely wife showed me the video for that song one time. Eesh!
But retaining that ‘eesh’-worthy knowledge has finally paid off!
True, but then people wonder why I sometimes can’t remember important actual life things… my RAM is full of eesh, apparently…
200 a shameful performance.
There’s no shame whatsoever about your cumulative score though Neil!
As my friend may say I pushed something useful out to remember that.
You did better than me!
300 because I ain’t watch no singing shows.
I think Rivers from Weezer had point in the song back to the shack, ‘turn off those stupid singing shows!’
Back to the strat with the lightning strap!
I’d much rather rock out like it’s ’94 too!
I get 300 today.
Nice work D!
200, but I should have had a hunch at the 300 pt hint
200’s still a fine score!
300
Well done!
300. Tight pants? I watch Conan.
I could watch Conan interviewing Louis CK all day!
Agreed! Love those two together!
100. I thought I wasn’t going to get this one! Love her singing, too.
You got it just in time Danica!
Right down to the wire! After I got it, the Lady Marmalade hint clicked. The other hints were lost on me though… no TV has some disadvantages! 🙂
There should be less TV-based questions in the coming weeks Danica!
500- lucky guess.
Well guessed!
100 for me. I love the track Dirrty too. Damnit!
To quote Dirrrty, It’s about time for your arrival Joe!
Damn you, you just made me watch the video again … three times.
I think they call that the scientific method, when you repeat something 3 times, just to be sure!
500 Glad I watch “The Tonight Show” a lot
It paid off here, well done!
