“Wasn’t that a party?”
– Rhetorical question by The Irish Rovers
What a day!
This is a companion post to Aaron’s splendid stats recap, with special thanks to Mike & Scott for their diligent data collection and organization.

Correction: The one where HMO deemed each post his favourite…that is 99%, not 100%. He never told me mine was his favourite. Then again, I had Sloan on my list.
The Sloan inclusion is tough to overcome – I think he meant to say it though, it must have been implied!
Of course. It was an oversiiiiight! 😉
Yeah, he was too busy razzing me about Sloan on my list. 😉
That explains it….
Hahaha….good stuff Geoff!
And my thanks – any excuse to use excel!
I think I make up 50% of the 25% of the 80s….hahaha
Nothin wrong with that Deke – 3 of my 15 were 80s beauties!
I knew it! Hooray for pie!
I laughed out loud when I saw that graph of HMO’s escapades. Oh man.
This is really awesome. Loved it. Well done!
Thank you Aaron for doing the heavy lifting assembling the data! Tallying the artists for the alphabet chart took me a while so I can only imagine what the individual albums took. I definitely appreciate you putting in the time and effort!
It’s a labour of love. Also, geekery. It’s all good.
Also, hey man, don’t you be knocking the ball on the string into the cup game. I friggin’ love that! 🙂
Wonderful! I’d like to see a geographical chart too – I have reason to suspect a disproportionate number of Canadian LPs in the mix!
haha, as would I! I feel the CanCon is underrepresented on the 1001, seems like the pendulum might have swung the other way with these lists!
There is nothing disproportionate about Canadian representation here. All is as it should be. 🙂
This is marvellous, Geoff – thank you very much!
Thank you J for the pie chart chant!
Any time, Geoff!
Hahaha I’m a pie! I genuinely lol’d.
These are my favorite stats.
Speaking of lol’d!
Ball in a cup! Best game ever!
This was very enjoyable. I especially liked the HMO graph.
This is utterly insane. Love it.
(Believe it or not, Geoff, I’m posting tomorrow. Better late…)
As Keith Richards said, the later the greater – looking forward to it, thanks Bruce!
Great graphics – ESPECIALLY that last one!
Thanks Jay – I’m a sucker for 2×2 matrices!
