Gordon Lightfoot – Canadian Railroad Trilogy

July 2, 2015

A Happy July 1st to all you Canadians/Honorary Canadians!

Although I prefer my dad’s acoustic rendition of this tune, for now Gordie Baby’s original will have to suffice.

Happy 148th Canada!

  1. A classic. Just like this place. Nice one!

Happy Canuck Day, Mr. 1001, sir!

    • Aww Shucks, and same to you Mr. KMA, hope you had a stellar day!

      • ‘Twas spent walking at the mill dam (and salmon ladder) and through to Harrison Park, spent a majority of the day outside, on the path through the trees and listening to the kids talk non-stop about anything and everything. Saw the fireworks from our deck tonight. In other words: absolutely lovely.

      • Fireworks explodin’ in the distance – sounds like Canada day done right to me

Great tune! If you prefer your father’s, it must be some good!

Awesome choice! It was either this, or “Take Off” by Bob and Doug McKenzie (Feturing Geddy Lee!)! I’m one of them “Honorary Canadians, so thanks, eh!
